Illinois Connection
I've enjoyed living in northeast Illinois for more than 40 years. My study of Carex was in the State Parks and Lake County and nearby county Forest preserves. The beautiful intricate world around us is more than any one lifetime could study or enjoy.I also write Carex Corner for the Illinois Native Plant Society under the pseudonym Lindaeus. I also write scientific articles for Erigenia, Journal of the Illinois Native Plant Society, and Palmetto, Journal of Florida Native Plant Society.Biographical and Professional Information
