American Pye: Autobiography of a Cat
Dorrance Publishing Co. Inc.. 2007
American Pye is a story that describes, through the perceptions of a cat, the full, loving, and wholesome life she led with "her family and other animals." She describes her frenetic activities during her early years at the Dooh Daah Ranch in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the many changes after moving to Springfield, Illinois, where she led a very different, quieter kind of life at Eberpark. Incorporating a measure of humor, the tale imparts a delightful message about bonding between humans and animals. Indeed, Pye is a provocative cat with insight and will. This is a story that will touch all ages.
