Jason Sturner was born in Harvey, Illinois, and has spent most of his life in the Tri-City area of the Fox River Valley.

Biographical and Professional Information

Naturalist, writer and poet Jason Sturner was born in Harvey, Illinois, and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. His poems, short stories and nature essays have appeared in many magazines and online journals. He is a member of the Illinois State Poetry Society and has published four books of poetry (also available in a variety of digital formats). He currently works at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois.
