Biographical and Professional Information
Small towns left a big impression on David K. Dodd, even though the allure of big cities drew him away from his quiescent hometown of Pittsfield, Illinois. In his career, Dodd taught psychology at Washington University in St. Louis, Eastern Illinois University, and Saint Mary College in Leavenworth, Kansas. His own hometown experiences as well as his time in Kansas contributed to the small-town setting of Star Shooting. Now retired from his career in psychology, Dodd resides in picturesque Fish Creek, Wisconsin, where he is working on his second novel.
