Biographical and Professional Information
Gail Bush, Ph.D., is a Professor Emeritus of the Reading program at National Louis University. She previously was the director of NLU's school library program, and the co-director of the Center for Teaching through Children's Books. Gail's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in anthropology, master's degree in library science, and doctorate in educational psychology. Bush has edited two books, Tales Out of the School Library: Developing Professional Dispositions and Indivisible: Poems for Social Justice. Dr. Bush served on the Reaching Across Illinois Library System(RAILS) Continuing Education Committee and is served a two-year term on the RAILS Board.
