SMiles Lewis here in Austin, Texas!
I'm looking forward to dialoging with you all and hoping we can get a
roll-call of who all is on the list so far.
I've been running the studio in Texas since 2003. That's when we began
beta-testing the NLS / Telex LCM (Low Complexity Mastering) digital
recording and navigational mark-up system. We tested it for a year but
ultimately did not go with it as our digital recording software setup.
We've been using APH Studio Recorder ever since and have developed
post-production processes using Sony Sound Forge and Izotope RX and we
now use HABC "Hindy" Hindenburg for navigational markup.
Besides producing new local digital recordings of books and magazines we
also do A2D conversion / digitization of our many older analog titles.
I look forward to getting to know all of you and hopefully meeting you
all face to face at future conferences.
