Send a message to the Collection development NLS (nlscollections at loc.gov<mailto:nlscollections at loc.gov>) If it is available from the commercial publishers agreement and has some good reviews, they will get it. I'm probably getting to this message late and you already know this.

Hi everyone,



I was just curious what the process is of getting a book recorded on audio. We just had a patron call for the book "Thick Luck: The Search for POW's and MIA's" which I found on Amazon as print but no audio. This patron is a veteran and said this book mentions a buddy of his that was shot down, so naturally I want to skip all the lines and get this book recorded for his as soon as possible! How would I go about getting on a "To be recorded" list?
