I just finished watching the training videos and thought that they really did a great job at covering the basics of Hindenburg. It's also interesting to see how some of the things that were done are so different than the way I do them, yet it still accomplishes the same results.  I, too, wish I had the time to do some of these for our program, but I'm glad that you got them posted so that the steps are clearly covered.  Congratulations.

Wow! That's a great resource. We have been wanting to do videos as well, but just haven't found the extra time. Kudos! I look forward to checking them out. Hopefully they will inspire me to get ours done. :)

Hi Linden,

Our Studio Director (David Statz) created some videos but they are being reviewed by our State’s Communication department.  Eventually, they’ll land under our Volunteer Resources section on our Volunteer page<https://education.mn.gov/MDE/fam/mbtbl/volunteer/>.  I don’t know when they’ll be available.  Right now his 5 videos on Audacity are the only things up.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody out there that uses Hindenburg has developed any written instructions for the various elements involved in production?  I have written up some basic instructions for my volunteers regarding how to record my narrators, but I have nothing detailing the other parts of audiobook creation (editing, mark up, adding titles / chapter headings for contents, exporting, and so on).  I have not found the info in the help section of the software very helpful without a very involved understanding of the program itself. I really need something for someone who is starting from scratch.   I may not be able to work with training any volunteers in a personal setting any time soon due to several factors including the whole social distancing thing so anything that other studios may be using would be extremely helpful at this point.
