[Studiotalk] Studiotalk -- Any Open Studios Out There??

The Kentucky Talking Book Library volunteer recording program is currently on hiatus due, although our electronic tech continues to digitize our A to D transfer books.
We have two sound booths, and about 15 recording teams that come in each week, along with about 10 proofreaders.
I can Imagine some changes, like having the proofreaders come in on a staggered, pre planned schedule instead of an open schedule, scheduling less and more spaced out recording sessions, and having a plan to sanitize the proofreading computer stations after each use.
Then there are the things I haven't figured out yet, like the air in the recording booths. I can go in and clean the surfaces of the sound booth's insides after a session, but how long do we need to wait for droplets to fall out of the air? It's a person talking in an enclosed box for an hour.
I would be very interested in any best practices that other programs develop.
Stay safe,
Brian Bertucci

Hello,
I posed this question a few weeks ago and at the time I got no response. I guess we are all just trying to figure this out. I, too, would be interested in how to open up in a way that reassures our volunteers.

I was wondering if there were any recording studios open? If so, what precautions have you taken to open up and keep contact minimal?
