<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">When we are forced to digitize from cassette sub-masters instead of from the preferred reel master (ie-the reel master is MIA) we use an old Tascam 424 PortaStudio (Image attached) to transfer all 4 sides simultaneously
at highspeed and then manipulate the files in Sound Forge to slow them down to standard playback speed, and reversing the backwards even-numbered sides (files). We then do a lot of post-production audio massaging mastering with Sound Forge and iZotope RX before
finally doing navigational markup in HABC.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
