<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif;color:black">The worst case scenario is an (most likely apocryphal) anecdote I heard, about a book requested by a patron. The studio manager in question was very particular
about the length of the silences between paragraphs, and spent a long time editing those to make them uniform. The production took an abnormally long time. In the meanwhile, the patron passed away. But at least those silences were all the same length?

<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif;color:black">When I find I’m drawing some line in the sand, it usually helps to ask myself, “Is this for the patrons, or for just myself? Am I slowing down production,
to make myself happy with a book which isn’t being made for me?” I mean, I could spend years editing every book until it’s “perfect” and almost never release anything.

Hi all,

Just wanted to share something I got from one of my veteran reviewers, (she’s listened to dozens of titles over the 6 years she’s been with the program and was our volunteer of the year in 2016). I got a stellar review from her that stated
“This is one of the best books I’ve ever reviewed. Great story and very well read. You all did an outstanding job on this. There we
no errors worth correcting. Keep up the great work”

Do I take this as the complement that was intended and just finish up the title or do I worry about the errors not worth correcting? I’ve often wondered if I wasn’t a bit over OCD with it comes to things like this? How do you handle #
of errors in a recording?
